Re: What makes us stare?
I think seeing these things triggers the senses to be more alert for danger. Its probably a very old instinctive drive to protect the pack. Injuries send of way more energy than when the body is healthy and safe. People who are challenged with disabilities are taking in way more energy than normal. I could do a whole thread on that....when I substitute teach, I work with special needs children a lot.

Re: What makes us stare?
Even though its curiosity, I feel the person being stared at can and will be become unconfortable and is that creating negative energy for them and makes them feel negative and self concious.

Re: What makes us stare?
Hello
That human need to understand and know what is going on. Life is fleeting and at times that might be what draws us to stop.....and look. I do not at least for me find it morbid to view the dead or a death event. More I go to the need to make sure that LIGHT is put around the situation and if one has passed they safely make that transition. Many can do that without even knowing they have.
Having worked for an organization that worked on the inner city streets I have seen death...in the worst of self inflicted ways....was it being morbid that made me LOOK no more undertanding what makes one go there sink that far down.
