Have any of you ever noticed a clock (or watch,) stopping at the time of someone's death, or on their anniversary?

Re: Clocks stopping
No I haven't noticed that but I've heard of it. I have a crack-pot theory - wanna hear it?
My mum and her mum - neither of them could wear watches with quartz crystals to keep them running. The both of them had to have wind up watches and clocks as the quartz watches were constantly stopping, never to go again. My grandmother and my mum both see the twinkly lights and hear voices (spirit), much the same as I do (I just found this out recently, hush hush and all that).
So, I wonder if the crystals in some watches, particularly old watches, reacts with a person's energy or vibration, like if they get in a mood or something. And on death...stops the crystal, as really, there's a preeeetty high vibration going on when the spirit leaves the body.
I can't really test this theory and I haven't noticed watches or clocks stopping around me the way they did around my mum and grandmother - but then again, I don't wear a watch and all the clocks in my house are digital.

You could have something there Kaere. A lot of people have digital clocks now, I wonder if that's why this isn't heard of very often any more

You ARE onto something! I believe it's Donna Eden (wrote book Energy Medicine) who explains this as related to the energy-based system of meridians. The watch lies on the heart meridian which as you may guess also relates to the heart organ. She says if the watch doesn't work on your wrist to STOP trying to wear it there. It may actually affect your heart meridian and create possible heart problems. This still doesn't explain why some folks can't wear the watch though. My aunt has this problem but I don't know if she hears voices and sees twinkly lights - I guess I should ask!Kaere wrote:

Re: Clocks stopping
Hello
I can not wear a watch that is not pure in its metal content but I have never thought to look at the hour it stops on for a meaning.
I had something odd happen to the clock radio the other AM it never went off at 6 AM like it was set to do. Often I have a Spirit mess with the dial on it where they take it off the station so I wake to fuzz or they turn the volume down. The other morning it went off at 6 27 AM . It was set for 6 AM. Too there is n sleep button that can be reched from the bed. This AM it went off at 6 AM on time.
Maybe as I was up at 5 am to use the washroom somoene thought I needed a wee bit more sleep.

I've noticed that the watch batteries don't seem to last two minutes when i'm wearing them, even new batteries, so I rarely bother with them any more it's a good idea to wear one elsewhere or even just carry it in a pocket. I might try that see if there's a difference.

I am the opposite I can not wear Silver at all it drains me life energy. I feel sick wearing it. I can if its a balance of Gold and Silver. I got a nice Native pendent and its Silver I can not wear it .

Re: Clocks stopping
It's strange how we're all different, Lynn would it make any difference coating the pendant with something a varnish or something like that or would it still have the same effect?

Hello
We are just on opposing vibrational levels is all . Like one being of Left Brain and one of Right Brain. Its the same with energies and what effects us.
To coat it only protects the skin from rash. Its the energy that be the metal that does the vibrations. I will one day have a ring of Gold put around it.
One might note at times that there are people ye feel off around ye, that might well be the energy vibration one runs on. I have found one that be me energy match it feels good to be on line with this one. The vibrations match. I do not have to alter how I take on what is there.

Kaer - first of all very cool theory!
Me, my three daughters (sometimes my son but not consistently), my mother, her sisters, their mother, my cousin (daughter of moms sister) - seeing a pttern yet? We all kill watches. Pretty much anything that runs on electric energy. Personally I have blown countless watches both twist-up and digital (the digital ones are LED, in fact the entire is a semiconductor diode. When a diode is switched on, electrons release energy in the form of photons. (In other words, the energy released by the psychic clashes with the energy released by the electrical device). So go figure, we psychics are screwed in the electronic age when literally half the world is digital! I'm the queen of blowing the old fashioned light bulbs, followed next in line by my second child. The new ones that look like curly fries, we have yet to blow one! (90% of the bulbs in our house are now the new curly fry bulbs, thank you God for their inventor - we were so close to buying stock in GE because of the number of bulbs we bought between 1995 and 2006 - it was pathetic). I've also frizzled out an ultrasound machine, complete with sparks flying, when I was pregnant with Katerina - go Kat! Other weird phenomena - I can apparently rev a car engine from standing a few feet away while warming it to keep it from stalling out on a cold winters day, but not consistently. I can drain a cell phone before you say boo. FORGET digital cameras and video camcorders. Me and my kids all four of them drain these suckers, fry their innards, its a waste of $100 to get one! which sucks because we love to take pictures. I'll think of more later lol.

Re: Clocks stopping
You must have 'blown' a fortuune on bulbs Carolyn
What are those curly fry ones you mention are they like those awful energy savers which take an hour to brighten up?
