Spirit guides feelings

There are many out there who do not get in touch with their spirit guides. When a spirite guide agrees to work with a spirit and that spirit never reaches the point of spirituality and never recognizes that it has a spirit guide, how does it feel for this spirit guide. This has been bothering me very much. I hate to think that I have hurt and disappointed my spirit guide. Thoughts?

It is not important what or how the spirit guides feels.
We as spirits are on a path of development and so is the guide.
Through the most part of the incarnation cycle of a spirit, the guide will not make any contact, besides through dreams and intuitive input.
Only now at the end the cycle for many, this has become a possibility.
And for many the guide can step back and the higher self or soul will take over the guiding.
I know my guides are still there and hold certain energies for me, but I have not talked to them for some time.
When I talk, I talk to my divine self. If, for some reason I wanted to talk to one of my guides, I can.
It is funny, when I talk to my divine self, it is almost instant. If I ask for a connection with a particular guide, there is a delay of around 60 sec.
It is not very important if we talk to them or not, as long we do what we here to do.
But I understand why we want to have feedback from them. I still do it day in day out.
I know, if they want us to make a connection with them, they can get us to do it.
It is not just us wanting the connection, they have to want it to.

I wouldn't worry too much about that Mary. Everyone has to 'crawl before they can walk and walk before they can run' as it were. It takes time for awareness to such things as spiritual awareness to develop. Spirit guides do guide people even though the person may not be aware of it consciously.....those little moments of brilliance and inspiration that can pop into one's head on occasion....we don't always act on it but still the inspiration is there and with time and experience, awareness will develop.

I have been taking classes and a couple of weeks ago learned how to connect with my spirt guide. It was a very powerful and emotional experience that I am not ready to talk about just yet. I was just wondering if a spirit guide felt a sense of disappointment when a spirit goes through life making bad choices and never finds its spiritual path. Does it feel like a failure? Does it feel empty? I really think about how others feel, one of my joys in a day is connecting with others and making them feel better. I was just wonderding how a spirit guide would feel if they were not sucessful with getting through and ever being heard.

I think a spirit guide knows about all that ...it is all factored in....and it wouldn't matter because in spirit, time doesn't matter and all happens according to the plan.

True... people might feel that way if their guidance was shunned...but spirit guides are not in body and so have no ego problems. I don't think anyone makes bad choices...they just act according to how they see and feel at the time. We only see choices as being bad when we judge from our own perspective.

That is a relief Violet. I hate the thought of someone being hurt or in pain.

Well,I'm getting on a bit and it is only through the last few years,that I took a keen interest in spiritualism.
More so since I lost my husband to spirit.
I started with dreams,ordinary dreams then onto Lucid dreams in which I 'saw' my husband.
I heard voices speaking to me and the first voice gave me a name.
Which was White Cloud I think,this was a long time ago.
Then I started to hear another voice and a tall man appeared in my dreams.
I was given the name of Brian.

I now see and hear another man who has not given me a name yet.
I also have a blonde lady with me,again I am not sure of her name.

Now wondering who will appear next....
These guides always appear kind and helpful.

Joanie, I am so envious that you are able to see them as well as you do, hopefully I will be able to reach out to my spirit guides as well as you do one day.

I am trying very hard to be patient Joanie.I have met my spirit guide, and see him/her twice in my dreams when i was making some very bad choices in life. I receive my messages but have never heard them that I know of and never have seen them so to speak.

Ask them to give you a message,Mary.

I have gotten lots of messages but no name. I have a lot of questions so maybe they think that I don't need the name quite yet. Either that or I am not listening well enough or seeing the sign of it. Or maybe I have heard it and just don't realize it yet. I am sure that it will come in time.
