Like angels?

Like angels, there seems to be countless gods and goddesses, and also like angels many of them seem to be god or goddess of this, that or the other, so like many who feel a closeness/bond/strong liking for particular angels I wondered if any of you felt particularly drawn to any of the worlds gods or godesses? And can they help you in a crisis as angels are believed to do?

to me they are one and the same. well the arch angels and their feminine counterparts, the hindu, roman, egyptian, greek (etc)gods and godesses are the same thing.

i always love kwan yin , mother tara? and ganesha, very drawn to him. however i have had meetings with kali (cue oooh and ahhhh), she's a scary lady! but yes she helped me, one time she came to explain to me why there was the suffering in africa. and that helped me, because it pained and bothered me a lot till then. in a dream i learned of quetzlcoatl, ssso i look forward to 'meeting' him. i've had a lot to do with the one called 'mary' and she has explained things to me on many occasions.

In Maori Legend "Ranginui" is our "Sky Father" and "Papatuanuku" is our "Earth Mother"..."Io" is the "Most High" or "The Creator"...
"Rangi and Papa" had many children and grandchildren who are also very important in "Maori Mythology".
Grandson "Maui" is noted in many pacific cultures.

the old maori ways are very beautiful, like all the aboriginal peoples of this world, very special.
primitive became a dirty word, but actually means something special.

yeah some i mentioned are from the hindu tradition, AND i forgot i have seen ganesh in a meditation, quetzlcoatl, after my dream i found he was of the mayans and aztecs and i hear toltec (in my head). several months ago i met a one i heard was "metatron" (in my head). since looking him up, i found images on the net quite close. some of kali are genuine also.

Ah i've heard of Kali isn't she supposed to be quite a 'dark' character?

she has dark hair and has beautiful looks, not in a soft way. however since conversing with one of her counterparts, i intellectually understand they have most of the same attributes. kali has a job and she does it well. she does not kill anyone, despite the depictions of her with skulls around her.
