I personally don't believe that, everything is random and also it depends on millions of random events throughout or life, also there is genetics, how we treat our selves, and just simple bad luck.

There is a school of thought - and I'm coming round to accepting it - that we decide a number of 'exit points' as part of our 'life plans'. We presumably choose whichever one meets our needs as life pans out and we succeed - or fail - in what we chose to achieve in any particular incarnation.
I didn't use to see it that way....

Hi...it looks like I'm going to be on my own with this... But I believe we have a time to be born, and a time to die, all decided prior to birth. ( I'm odd though, remember!!).

We can live for as long as our physical bodies hold out. As they are the vehicle used to experience our life with. To learn valuable lessons. In most cases, if those lessons are learnt we no longer have to be here any more so we can exit the vehicle (death). "Only the good die young". My interpretation, they've learnt their lessons and no longer need to be here.
