    Which practice do you think is
    the better one when choosing a Signficator card? Either using the first
    card that comes off the top of the deck as the Significator or using a
    Court Card? If using a Court Card would you choose according to
    astrological sign or by physical appearance? I find that physical
    appearance has nothing to do with the personality of the person.
    Example using myself - I have auburn hair but am the Queen of Cups (a
    blonde) as I am a more emotionally and sensitive person unlike the
    Queen of Wands who is more career and energy oriented.

    Hi Sprite, an interesting question, I don't use one unless I feel I need to, in which case I just use whatever feels right for that person at that time.

    I never use a significator when reading tarot either. Go with what works or feels right for you though.
