The Cottingley Fairies

I saw a faery once.
It was about 120ft away around a tree.
It definately wasnt a bird or butterfly, was wrong size, wrong shape and it wasnt flying the same.
I stared for ages at it til it disappeared from view into the foliage.
It was a pale green, or the colours on it were.

It sounds lovely mia, have you thought of trying to draw it?

I cant draw Violet and was too far away for good detail.

Ah it's a shame it was too far away, as for the drawing, I never thought I could draw but I can turn out a reasonable pic now (I got a U in art at school )

this will not happen today but there are still hoaxes..

Hi Jekki3, yes there are always hoaxes but they seem easier to catch out these days, those ladies had people fooled for years.
