My daughter has shown a bit of interest in tarot cards, can anybody suggest child friendly packs?

Hi Rainbow, there's been mention of a gummi bear deck in here somewhere and the manga tarot seems to be aimed at school children, trying to think of others

my daughter is 4.5 years old, i never hide my cards from her, around the time she started talking we used the unicorn oracle cards together, she was telling me what she think is the story on each card. now she play with my rider waite deck and she sees very interesting things in the cards.
my point, go on the real thing, go on the waite thing, it is not too much. the only thing i opposed (i don't know how old is your child) is her having a deck of her own though she keeps asking for one. i tell her she can look at mine and try to let her use them whenever she ask for it so it is like her own. so i can be around and see what she is doing and all.
so basically i don't think you need a special deck for children, i think children need the right guidance.
but if you are looking for a deck for children, i found once tarot colouring cards, so you can colour yourself your cards, i think this can be interesting for a child, but i lost the link, try google it?
hope this help

Re: Tarot Cards for Children
Hello
I have the Halloween Tarot and me middle Son thinks them very cool. Asking tons of questions. The oldest one say me doing a layout the other day and asked how that worked. He is 12 so he could start to learn them if he so choose.
I think what ever age.....what is most important is that the child KNOWS like with Crystals and other things they are NOT toys. That they are used for certain things.

Re: Tarot Cards for Children
i agree lynn that it is important that the child will know that it is not a toy. but it is just like any other thing in your house and life that you teach your child it is not a toy.

Re: Tarot Cards for Children
I bought a Tarot deck upon suggestion from a friend and I found it most confusing
maybe I should start out with the Gummi bear deck or the Halloween one ?
those sound intriguing !
thanx for the info !
