I had a little success with a crystal ball recently, what I got is of little consequence here (it won't mean anything to anyone here), the fact I was able to do it is. So if you're trying to use one don't give up.

What amazes me with the crystal ball is that if I am at a group session where a reader is doing the ball readings I can SEE it all happening as she says it to the person getting the reading. NOW am I picking up the energy from the psychic or am I picking up the actual information as it flows in. If I go to look in one by my self I get NOTHING at all. When I am getting a reading done on me I see what she see's but I see it before she even picks up the image so am I guiding the reading ???
They truly amaze me but I have never been able to master one. I know too some place here I have one in storage.

Lynn my successes have been yearsapart it has been so rare to get anything(mind you it's not very often that I try to use it, the first time I got anything something/someone 'told' me to get it out, so it might come for you. 
It made me smile you knowing what the ball gazer was getting because I get that with the tarot/playing cards if someone else lays them out to read for me I can read them myself but if I lay them out for myself I can't see a thing
