My uncle killed himself in 2009 after about 20/30 years of depression...We weren't close whatsoever but I feel pretty shoddy that when he came over I'd stay upstairs due to my low confidence levels!

What do you think I can do to sort this? I'm a little scared about 'seeing' him but I am wondering what he feels now? xoxo

I'm unsure about this as well so if this isn't really what happens - i.e their carry over their thoughts then please let me know :)

I am sure your uncle understands now. We see and understand events more clearly I should imagine in spirit than in physical life.

I had an uncle like that, always strange to me. Always a bit in awe of him....he was a school teacher and rather strict.

Then one day,he mentioned spiritualism and asked me if I knew anything about it.
he taught me a lot and thats when my interest sprang up.

I think with most people you have to find a mutual interest.
    That set the friendship off.

That's good Joanne! When he die I started a blog and did what I truly wanted to do. I had a few years thinking about commuting suicide myself but when he did it I knew he was 'happy' now and I saw the effect on my family and it made me love them more xxxxxxx

    You're welcome,Stephanie.

We all come across those in our lives. Some we feel good with and some friendships just don't work out.
Mostly reasons are as the above, some we just don't meld with. Others start off good and but end for a reason. The true friendships are those that stay for ever.
They're meant to be that way. Nothing will end a good friendship.
