Salt pipes are not the same as smelling salts.

I know someone who has used them with great effect, Violet. I think it would be worth it to give it a shot :)

They only thin I can tell you Violet is it is about as strong as ammonia. I do not know if you tried to smell ammonia before.
Hi Avianscepter yes i'm very familiar with ammonia, I used to have to use it neat at work horrible stuff years ago, for anyone who's not familiar, imagine the smell of urine so strong and intensified it makes your eyes water

I was looking at an advert for a saltpipe this morning. They contain rock-salt crystal, so I am guessing that they work via ionisation/ozonisation. Just my guess.

Yes I make my own salt pipes, they are very good for clearing the lungs. I simply clean out a plastic tub such as a vitamin tub, punch lots of holes in the lid, then place Himalayan salt in the tub, Inhale through the lid and exhale, It will make you cough at first but it is not harmful.
