A Hedge Witch is a Green Witch but a Green Witch is not a Hedge Witch. The difference is in the "hedge". This derives from the shamanic practices of the old Cunning Folk in "crossing the hedge" i.e. crossing the veil. Hedge Witch is Cunning Folk in a modern setting. I prefer the "old" name as it strengthens my ancestral links and sense of history.
