Deformities

I've heard that spirits look nearly the same as the human body they stay in.

Do you think humans with deformities carry those deformities as a spirit?

*deformities are missing arms and things like that in this case

No,once we reach the spirit world,losing our physical body,we can be any age we want.
We do not carry any flaws of the physical body....

No, the deformities and 'imperfections' of the earthly world do not exist in the spiritual world.

That being said, our spirit bodies in the spirit world will reflect our true, inner nature. 
So someone with a heart of gold for example will reflect that in their spirit body i.e. more luminous.

I read a book a while ago titled the The Life of Billy....? can't remember his surname....nor the author's.

Billy has died and gone to spirit.   Keeps in contact with his sister.

As he goes through every stage of his journey to the spirit world he changes from one stage to another until he reaches the spirit world....

As long as the spirit is in the non physical earth realm, yes. and if they incarnate from this lower realm, they often carry scaring from their last incarnation.
Once a spirit moves on to the astral realm, all aspects from the last incarnation will be down loaded, and a complete healing of the energy system can and will take place.

I am so happy you said " physical " deformities, not mental anomalies, and again we see lack of subject research, a physical deformity that is created on Earth as in an accident or from illness, well that would be different to a deformity that is evident at birth.

Are birth defects a form of "karma" or are they just the parents bad habits during pregnancy?...smoking, drinking, and drug abuse, well all these things cause birth defects!
I wonder why i haven't answered this post before now!....lets see if i get trolled eh?....

They will usually appear to a medium as they appeared on the earth in the flesh, so if they had a limb missing from birth or one missing from later in life they would most likely appear without it initially, I have heard that once they are identified by their loved one they may show the missing in place to readure said loved one that in spirit they are restored.
