Who Will Meet Us?

First topic message reminder :

On the other side wheen we first arrive?

A loved one, a guide, an angel lots of people?

Who would you WANT to meet you, and what happens if you had three partners who all died before you and you loved all of them equally would all three be there for you or not?

What if you truly loved only one and you lost them to another and they were in spirit with their second partner, then you arrived?

I think it's more of they are busy after they pass with other soul development. I've had many people pass in my family for many years. Only my mom has ever made visits to me, in dreams. I had my aunt visit twice in a dream, and that was to deliver messages to me. She also only visited with my mom. I have never seen my grandparents, or other relatives. My only guess is that they are either busy, or that once passing their soul contract is no longer valid and have no reason to stay around.. Seems a little harsh, but after all many agree to lives with each other for learning and may not hold any more reason to stick around afterwards... Hard to say until I cross over what is true or not.
In the NDE books I am reading that when they pass over they were always greeted by Angels, and family members to help soothe the transition as much as they can.

i guess i wouldn't know till i pass over myself, but i really have no planes for doing it sometimes soon. so it will take me some good long years till i know the answer- who if any will come to wellcome me.

It can be very disheartening and even hurtful when someone you so badly want to connect with won't come through and yet (and you see a lot of this in church demonstrations) certain people seem to get the ones they want all the time, it can seem very unfair.
I think there must be several reasons why some don't or won't come through, some might not want to, some may not believe or even be aware that they can.

Heaven, I think that you'll be greeted by family, and friends.

I believe we would meet our loved ones. Anyone that meant anything to us in our time here. I know that I would want to be with my family and friends. My lost animals too! :D

Sometimes it can be someone completely different to who you expect..

Ordinarily, even when people become religious, they go on thinking in terms of having -- possessing heaven or possessing the pleasures of heaven -- but still they go on thinking in terms of having. Their heaven is nothing but their projected desire of having everything. All that they have missed here they would like to have in the after-life. But it is the same desire.

Now there's no need to be childish Mac, we all share what we think and that's all it can be, non of us as the mind body can ever know of what will or what wont happen after this so called life. Do you say that to everyone here that shares their views ?, I didn't just grab that what I shared from some second hand source, its what comes from within me that I share. So what have you got to share that comes from within you ?.

You have to respect his thought and mine but more importantly keep the problems you had with other sites away from us. These thoughts relate to your somewhat hidden anger from them. No that's wrong. Nobody has to respect the views of others, only others' rights to hold them. If we can't challenge the views of others we're effectively muted, censored. Not much of a forum interchange of ideas.

What problems you know of I have no idea but I haven't seen any evidence of problems spilling over into this website's forums and hence needing to be kept away from us. Maybe you could give examples?

PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE, please don't tell folks what to do. On a personal level I try hard with many members but never would I dream of telling them not to reply if they don't like what I say - it is their right to reply and to challenge and I totally uphold that right.

I trust that others see matters similarly.

Hi Tony, if you are referring to me, well i respected everyones opinions here, are you saying that you and a few others here have your little club where no one else is allowed to say what they believe. If this is the case then you are very mixed up, like spoiled little children who wont grow spiritually, if this is not the case then try to show some maturity on this forum.
