The best way, and the more direct route for an individual to learn about their own chakras and where they are blocks is to look at their own life, and diagnosis trends and patterns within it. (Using a journal as you go throughout the day is a good tool to understand yourself)

What you would be looking for is excessive, and lack of things. Not just talking about money, though that is also a possible block. I am referring to your lifestyle in the aspects of say, if you are fearful about things. Not enough fear, which would be reckless. To sexual, not enough sexual, to emotional, not enough emotions. To much love that you are dependent, or overpowering. Not enough love that you are closed down to others getting close to you. Unable to speak your own truths, and are afraid of giving your opinion. Speaking to much. Unable to see the bigger picture, unable to see your own truths. Closed down to the universe, and hearing your own intuition, and guidance.

Those are just a start, and help an individual get a better gauge on where they stand within their energetic bodies.

The key to your energy bodies is balance. You want to be right up the middle in how you address the issues that are in your life, and the situations you deal with.

Too much of one, could cause another to be thrown off. You could also end up using to much of one to try and balance out the other.

When balance is achieved one will feel it in all aspects of their life.

When working with your chakras always work from the ground up. Without proper foundation a house will crumble under it's weight. To much in one's high chakras without good support could cause a person to be to much in their head, or to spacey.
