Smooth and shiny water worn Apache Tear from Arizona. Apache Tear is a form of Black Obsidian but much gentler in effect. Obsidian is molten lava that cooled so quickly it had no time to crystallize. This stone brings up negativity slowly so it can be transmuted. Apache Tear is excellent for protecting the aura, grounds, and cleanses the earth chakra.

Re: Apache Tear
Thanks innerlight that must be why I found it last night, not that it was really 'lost' as such, or that I was actually looking for it.
