Having a star named

I believe you have to pay astronomical ( pun intended) amounts of money for this, so who takes the money and who on Earth owns the stars in order to sell them?

Man's greed in trying to control everything.. Man doesn't own the stars, or the universe, or earth... but Man wants to control EVERYTHING! So it doing so they establish force to take whatever they want, and destroy what they touch. It's a shame.

It's different to adopting wild animals (for example) because at least the money is going towards helping the animals, money from the stars must be going in someone's back pocket

It's all going into someone's pocket. Since no one owns the stars, and now you can buy one that money goes to someone. So it's like creating something out of nothing. You are making money off of nothing.

It's a bit cheeky isn't it.

But in man's attempt at being greedy and controlling everything he will sell you anything you want. if the price is right. man doesn't own the earth but he will charge you money to live there. you pay for your house yes, but then you must pay a property tax. how can you pay a property tax if you can't own the earth?

it's like saying i can charge you money to swim in the ocean.

It's a total scam. Like selling air! Yet people - usually those in love or grieving - fall for it.

If the idea appeals, better to have a special star in the night sky dedicated in your heart to someone dear to you and think of them whenever you see it.

Selling stars?    And how much for that stupid idea?????
