Visualisation ~ Many people struggle with visualisation but it can be much easier than you think, as people visualise things all the time. For instance if somebody mentioned someone you knew at school and said they’d seen them last week, your mind would immediately create an image of that person, even if it’s been years since you’ve seen them, or if someone said ‘do you remember that dress/suit we saw in the sales last week,’ again you’d probably be able to visualise it very well straight away. Visualisation in meditation can be just as easy, but you may find it helpful to study a picture of what you’d like to visualise just before you meditate for the first few times.
