Black Feathers

It's widely believed white feathers are from the angels, what about black feathers, what are your thoughts Personally I don't think black feathers indicate anything negative.

Sorry but am probably going to be 'hissed' and 'boo'd'. Feathers come from birds, its amazing how many fly around up there. It is amazing how they float on the slightest draught into our homes.
So would probably have to say a black feather comes from a blackbird(beautiful creature) or a crow or a raven--will depend on its size.

Hi Peter, please don't apologise for your beliefs or because your beliefs are different , and it is always sensible to try and find an explanation before assuming it is spirit.

I would say that for the most part that Peter is right that most feathers are just from birds, and people are clinging to them that they are signs from spirit. There is nothing wrong with that as it can give you the encouragement that you need. For the most part a vast majority of feathers that you find outside, in an open are, are from birds.
Now if you were to find feathers within your house, without you owning birds, and it not being stuffing from a down product. It could be a safe bet that was a sign from spirit.
