If you can get hold of a copy, but it's out of print I think, but you may drop lucky in a second hand book shop etc, it's called 'The Children That Time Forgot' and it has stories in of children who are believed to be reincarnated.

Re: An Interesting Book
I found a book today. It's called Haunted Inns of Britain and Ireland, looking forward to getting my nose stuck into this one

Excellent book. I read it years ago. It's by Peter and Mary Harrison.

The trouble with reincarnation,it has never been proved.
That alone would prove there is life after death.
We would not need any other proof what so ever.

But it has, Christ rose from the dead after 3 days. As matter of fact we are going to celebrate that soon with easter.

Re: An Interesting Book
\but has that fact ever been proved.Tony?
I only ask this because years ago I read a book about the life of Jesus Christ. Sorry I cannot remember the name of the author, way back in the 1960's.
A movie was made from the story of the book.
The author in his book, set out to disprove that the miracles that Jesus performed could have taken place in other ways.
He wasn't trying to prove that Jesus was a fraud but was explaining how the people of that time interpretated the miracles to the way that they may have been seen in today's times.
Interesitng movie and book.

Hi Joanie, oh ok, yea I guess this is just where faith has to come in. People saw that Jesus was gone, many thought that someone took him overnight and away from the grave. Then Christ came back as he said he would and showed himself to his apostles. Science as far as DNA or fingerprints did not exist back then. I guess by others witnessing this and your belief is all the proof you can get out of this, and of course believing that the Bible was entered by a direct connection to Gods words and these happenings, It all just boils down to faith in the end. I think Joanie, that is all we have. Wasn’t the movie called the King of Kings from 1961 with Jeffery Hunter as Jesus (Who by the way was the original Captain Pike of the USS Enterprise in 1966, before Bill Shatner got the role as Capt Kirk) Sorry but I diverge.
Quantum physics shows that if you look at this cat in this experiment and we find that it is BOTH dead and alive.... and this is proven in theory as well but do you BELEIVE that??? Now here is proof, but do you take that for ... dare I say Gospel? Schrodinger's cat
Please, I am a Cat lover, this was a theoretical experiment not actual, because the Geiger counter would need to detect the radioactivity for a very long time. Here kitty, I belive you are still alive.....

Re: An Interesting Book
Whether Jesus rose from the dead or not is irrelevant to the truth or otherwise of reincarnation--unless we can also prove that he was born again in another body---which we cannot.

Re: An Interesting Book
Apparently he was the only one, I thought I was one once, but again that was a dream, which most of us have and in the end, that is all we can realte to. A dream!Viking wrote:Whether Jesus rose from the dead or not is irrelevant to the truth or otherwise of reincarnation--unless we can also prove that he was born again in another body---which we cannot.

Re: An Interesting Book
A lot and pros and cons there.
I know I was taken to the spirit world by my husband but can I prove it or was it just a dream?
I know I saw the most wonderful world but was it just a dream?

Tony I was greatly relieved to read this in your post.

Hi Joanie, as Tony says it is down to faith, but with your experience you say 'I know I was taken...etc' and personally I would treasure that and not worry about proving it, if someone doesn't believe it let them disprove it, treasure that Joanie you know you shared a beautiful experience with your husband

Re: An Interesting Book
What convinced me,Violet was the colours I saw from the top of a mountain.
I had Ken standing by my side, though couldn't see him clearly,he was showing this beautiful vista down below the mountain.
I can't describe these colours, they were out of this world.

Re: An Interesting Book
So right,Tony.
That dream if I can call it that, was a dream of colours so vivid,i will never seen colours like that in this life on this plane.
I was taken to the top of a mountain, looking down on what was a valley or tarn,or glen whatever we may call it.
There was a deep blue lake at the bottom, surrounded by bushes and flowers,in colours I have never seen before.
The only time I saw colours simuliar was when I went to visit north qld and saw coral underwater.
I've never been taken to the spirit world since,as far as I know,or if I have, have not remembered it.
