• Full Worm Moon – March
With the temperature change and the ground starting to warm the Earthworm starts to stir. This brings in the first ( superstition) of Spring the Robin. Thus the Moon is called the “Worm” Moon for March.
It too goes under the name of the Crow Moon, as the cawing of the Crows singled the end to Winter.
It too goes under the name of the Full Crust Moon, as the snow is thawing during the Sun of the day and re freezing at night. Creating a crust effect in the snow.
It too goes under the Sap Moon as this be the time for tapping of the Maple Tree’s ( back East in Canada)
To the early settlers it was known as the Lenten Moon, as it was considered the last full Moon of Winter.
This time of the Full Moon be good for the healing magic’s . As the sap runs in a tree one can visualize that sap as the blood rushing through one’s veins, cleansing.
