Different ages?
Do we live to different ages in past lives, would we die very young in one to experience that and then live to our 90's in the next and so on?
Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

Only if we had decided that it were beneficial for us to experience those situations.
We can't possibly experience every situation, every variation of any particular situation. If we chose not to live more than one physical life then we probably wouldn't personally experience more than one of any of the many possible variations of even commonplace situations.
Not all situations are necessarily of equal value anyway.

Re: Different ages?
I did read once that when we choose our next life,we can have a short hard life or a long reasonably happy one.
Depends I suppose,on what karma we owe from a previous life.
Also what kind of conditions,we need to experience in a futture life.

It could be something evil or just plain bad you may have have commited in a previous life.

Re: Different ages?
You achieve your own growth and all actions that you perform determine the state of your evolution. No one else accomplishes that growth for you.
You have the choice as to how you order your existence, as to whether you give priority to spirit or to matter. That is the nature of the human problem.
You are not responsible for what others do or say. You are responsible only for what you do or say. Do not concern yourself with the opinions or actions of others.
Every individual is personally responsible for what he does for this is the natural law. Much as you love anybody else, you cannot assume the responsibility for is life. You cannot shoulder the results of his action. This is cause and effect. If you make a mistake, you must pay for it – I am talking about the spiritual law.
Man is the gardener of his own soul. The Great Spirit has provided him with all that is necessary for it to grow in wisdom, grace and beauty. The implements are there, he has but to use them wisely and well.
Show in your own lives you know the things of the spirit because the power of the spirit is in you.
We do not seek to take away from you the responsibilities of your own lives, but only to try to inspire you to live so that men may know the Great Spirit is working through you.

We wouldn't be human if we were forever watching what we we're doing.
Mistakes are part of the experiences, learning how to put them right equally so.

Only joking,Mac.
I've done stupid things during my life which I regret.
If I had my life over now,it would be a great deal different.
I wouldn't be such a fool again.

"Only joking,Mac." ah, gotcha!
Think of these suggestions, Joanie. Regrets one may feel about actions or omissions in this life may also be one of the karma issues we are effectively 'paying back' in the here and now - a mixture of current and past regrets which the individual is dealing with simply by accepting the shortcomings (s)he is unhappy about? No more than that being necessary because they've been acknowledged and accepted?
Maybe it's the ones we don't think about, or turn our backs on, that 'come back to haunt us' and eventually make us want to make amends for?

Re: Different ages?
Too true,Mac. The hurtful things we have done to others without realising it.
Probably without malice but we do,do them.
I was accused once of being a terribly 'stuck up' person! Yes,I was! I was flabberghasted.
When I asked why they thought that,I was given the answer, because 'I looked snooty'.
Can you beat that?
Just a small aside.
Probably without malice but we do,do them.
