Hello Everyone!

My name is Karin ... and I'm German. I'm 40 years old, without family, a bookkeeper, biker and "slave" of two wunderful tom-cats...

It's difficult to find a spiritual website like this one in Germany... and so I hope, that I will find here a place.

I beg your pardon for my bad English... often I have to use a dictionary, grammar is also bad - but it's getting better and better...

It would be great to lern here more about spiritualism and better English too.

yes we have. But this will be the last way to tread. We set our hopes in our management consulting, represented by a great woman knowing the boss very well and able to find the right words to stop his doing.

It's pathological. He works around the clock, never takes holidays, spreads panic about the profit situation - and he's unable to trust the colleagues and wants to do their work too. And beyond that he insults us to be incapable and calls us liars... it's indeed a sad story.

This is my learning task these days: not to take it personally and not to take these problems at home. I often think about changing the job, but loosing the contact to the fine people working there makes me really sad.

Everything will become all right. It's only a job. And I'am brave.

Ah, now I see how you've been, (I asked in the joke thread ) it's difficult in the workplace without people making it more difficult, your holiday sounds great, scooters give you more freedom than a motorbike in some ways, because they're a little slower you can take in the scenery.

Although we don't know us very well... I missed you all somehow

Same here and i'm sure others missed you too, good to have you back.

Your cats are beautiful and you're so lucky they're well-behaved. (Mine are a mother-daughter and over the past few months we've had to separate them completely; the daughter showing Mama she's the alpha now. They never were 'friends' to begin with).

They're 19 and 16 years old.... and love to eat the DOG food. I also have 2 sweet dogs. My pomeranian is OBSESSED with one of the cats and I don't know why.

Yes, and in narrow serpentines I was very happy about this lightweight machine. It was funny indeed: it went on up... and up... and up... I rather froze with my summer-outfit und thought "please, dear vertex, come..."

My pomeranian is OBSESSED with one of the cats and I don't know why.

Maybe an appointment at soul level...? I think it's great to watch a friendship between dogs and cats...

My cat,Fudge left home when we decided to have a dog.

He was missing for 4 days,we scoured the neighbourhood for him but couldn't find him.

Before that everytime Pippin (Yorkie) went to him to make friends he hissed at her.

So we assumed he left home in the huff.

He strolled in as I said 4 days later,walked over to Pippin and bent his head for her to lick.

Now they reckon that animals have no feelings.

So why did he return and on friendly terms as well?

After that,the two of them slept on the sofa together.

He needed time to think it over - like we humans too.

This can just say someone who has never had a pet. Some people are surprised to hear that animals have a face-expression too... "How can you see that your cats are happy?", they asked me. I think it's a shame, they don't know what they miss.

Animals HAVE feelings, they have a soul and are (little) personalities. I'm always amused to see how animal-babies have - just few days after birth - one by one their own characters. The same mummy and daddy, the same education and treatment... and although every baby is unique in its behavior.

Kimba and Balu are brothers, two of a "six-pack" born by a funny mummy-cat called "Flower". Balu has always been a "Mr. Bruiser" in opposition to Kimba, he is a "Mr. Prudence"...

Your English is quite perfect,Karin.

But we will do as you wish,it's good to learn another language.

There is only an occasional little spelling mistake, Karin, and that's charming to read, like listening to somebody speaking with a light accent. Your posts are very interesting and I enjoy seeing the photos of your wonderful cats.

Your boss sounds as if he really makes life hard for you all. I read a book this year by Günter Wallraff which included a part about employers mistreating their employees. He's a great journalist and it's amazing how different he can make himself look when disguised to infiltrate a workplace. Maybe he should investigate your boss.

I think Herr Wallraff doesn't have the time for such persons... Last friday I shot back and told him something about handling with humans... Today he was very tranquil and kind...

I haven't been here for some time. I know what you mean with writing in an other language then your own. I have lived in Australia for the last 30 years or more, and have not mastered the English language. But there are always spell checkers.

Yes, I grew up in the Moselle Valley (Mosel) and came to Australia in the late seventies.

Thinking in German? Not for the last 20 years or so. But I can still remember wen I became aware of starting to think in English.
Links, not to many. Last time I was in Germany was about 4 1/2 years ago for a School reunion.

I realized some years ago that I'm thinking bilingual... in the same way I grew up.
