How many runes per set?

I'm sure one have mine has 25 but i'm also sure i've seen other sets with only 22 I think there are slightly different sets available, but do the numbers of stones vary or is my maths wrong

i don't know about the sets but there is the German runes and the anglo saxon runes and the old norse adn the Gothic and each has different number of runes.

I'll look out for that, I finally found a set and have them here on my desk I set a practice thread up somewhere a while back I will start practising wirth them soon.

It all depends what Futhark you are using, as different Futharks had varying numbers of runes. Most Rune sets also have a blank Rune in their sets as well.

what is a black rune? never heard about that before, my set do not have that and i not in my books either :(

Hi Shayn, no it's not dark at all, it's just blank, no marking on it at all.

Most rune sets have a blank rune. Its the easiest rune to make if you want to make your own set.
