Re: Pearls
Maybe for metaphysical and energy purposes. it's the mineral that pearls are made of that is important....calcium and whatever else....because it's energy was created by an animal naturally.
And for precious gem purposes...they are beautiful, unique and not that easy to acquire.

Re: Pearls
Pearls was very hard to come by today, genuine pearls that is.
I was given a very unusual ring and very old.
Victorian style. It has two pearls either side of a ruby.
I lost one of the pearls and tried all the jewelers in the immediate area where I live,to replace the pearl which is a seed pearl.
None of them could help saying that seed pearls are very hard to get. Especially in the UK.
The only place I could find to replace the pearl was Australia!
Travelled out there on holiday to see relatives, tried the local jeweler and he said 'No problem'. It was in within a week. And so cheap to replace, cost me $50.
Against God knows how much it would have been in the UK.

My step son gave it to me,he is antique collector.
Ken did a reading on the ring for me and got an Victorian old lady with it.
That was all he could get.

Re: Pearls
Hello
The pearl is the oldest known gem. For many periods in history it was one of the most valuable . What makes the pearl different from a mineral based gem, is that it is created organically in a living creature being the oyster.
There are five different calendar months, depending on where ye look up that use the pearl. February, April, June ( most popular western) , July and November.
For the astrology signs it goes to Gemini and Cancer, with strong ties to the Moon. Legends say that the pearl was from a drop of rain that fell and that drop became the heart of the oyster. Pearls are at times called Moon Tear Drops in jewelry.
The pearl is the symbol of purity and innocence thus it is very common on bridal gowns and the like.
There is what I have. Not having things at me finger tips is annoying as me Lap Top is in the shoppe. LOL I cooked another MOTHER board on a brand new computer. YIKES.
