Junebugs

I know I have far more interesting dreams which need analyzing, but the other night I had a dream which has me baffled. In it, my bathroom ceiling was simply littered with junebugs. We're talking hundreds of them. A few of them were on the bathroom counter, and erhm... they had met their Maker let's just say. Still, most of them were attached to the ceiling.

Initially, I thought perhaps I just had this dream b/c that same evening my father got sick and being the germophobe I am, was hoping that throughout the night he would never use MY bathroom when he got sick again.... hence juneBUGs in my dream; not wanting to catch whatever bug he got. (Turned out it was food poisoning, btw).

Maybe that's all this dream was, too, but if not what do y'all think it could possibly mean? (By the way, I would say that 95% of my dreams have animals in them, so that also makes me give this dream more credibility).

Being on the ceiling I would say OPENING to something or needing to open that ceiling. Being the bathroom.....where MOST of the "Spirit" contact happens as that be a place we are truly alone.



There is that not wanting to catch a bug....and that we don't like at times to share our bathroom....but I dont feel that connection in this dream.

June bugs wierd me out. Just... no thanks.



I wonder if there's something on your mind about June that's bugging you? Something that happened or will be happening. Perhaps something being held over your head - or is just niggling at the back of your mind.

I didn't know what a junebug was though Lynn gave me a clue with beetle here's a pic is this one?

They are a HUGE Bettle as we had them were I used to live. Males are nice and bright but the females are all brown. They really SMELL bad if Squished.....and are very LOUD during mating season....we had our front stairs littered in them in the Summer.

No, I can't think of anything coming up in June.

I'm not a fan of june bugs either. We have A LOT of them around here, especially at the start of summer.
