Re: Angels?
I'm a bit like you Joanie angels aren'r really my thing, thou I think I had one throuh in a meditation once and just lately i've had some info about an angel which has made me think more deeply about them.
Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

Re: Angels?
The only experience of an angel being given to me,was from a member of another site long time ago.
I was feeling a little down and there were a few of us in a chatroom.
This new member admitted she had been viewing my profile.... and told me she had seen my photo enfolded in angel wings.
Asked if I was ok as she picked up that the angel was giving me comfort.

It gave me a belief in angels,Violet. Do you ever watch 'Eternal Law' on the telly?
Doesn't the program give a different view on how angels work?

Re: Angels?
Hi Joanie,
I must admit I do believe in angels, have done all my life though recently I have talked to them more asking them to watch over people and also asking them to bring Hoover safely home and they have done.
I know a lot of people who think I must be mad but let's face it there's more in heaven and earth than we can possibly realise and I get great comfort from them being there for me.

Re: Angels?
I remember asking angels a good time ago, possibly before Ken passed.
He was very ill at that time and after asking,he suddenly started to improve!
So often wondered if angels did exist then?
We find out in such strange ways, don't we?

Re: Angels?
Since i'm not christian, I'm pagan, I don't believe in Angels or stuff. But actually did you all know, that angels aren't all christians? Other religions also got creatures very similar to Angels like in the buddhist religion and other asian ones.

I didn't realise that until I came accross a book a while ago, The Angel Bible I think it was called, it was extremely interesting reading of other religions' 'angels.'

Re: Angels?
The question to me would be, what is their purpose in ALL That IS.
They obviously have a role of service within the ONE.
How does their role vary from the Fae, per example, or the Elohim, who serve the ONE in a different capacity.

Re: Angels?
Hmm i'm not big on angels though I believe I MAY have seen one myself, too many people have reported seeing them for them not to exist in some form or other, their purpose? I think they appear or are seen to bring comfort and instill hope and peace in people.what is their purpose

Re: Angels?
Mm, perhaps, if this is what you need at that point to move forward, perhaps.Violet wrote:Hmm i'm not big on angels though I believe I MAY have seen one myself, too many people have reported seeing them for them not to exist in some form or other, their purpose? It is not quite as simple as that.
Most would acknowledge we left source at some point and will return to source at an other point. And it is this journey the angelic energy, entities and beings will guide us on.
Now, if you design for yourself a very challenging life, in order to reach a certain level, those angels will create it for you. They will create the pitfalls, push you into it and lift you out again.
It is not just Mills and Boon
They create pitfalls for a whole nation or the planet if needed.
If that is what is needed to move us forward.
There are specialized angelic entities incarnated on this planet who instigate wars, in areas where energies have been stagnant and solid for a long time, perhaps thousands of years. Wars might be seen as a downward spiral, but in the same way can rip solid energies apart.
There are many incarnated who teach and heal as well. We might recognize them more easily for what and who they are.
I like those who come in, clime on a pedestal and let themselves get killed. It sends ripples through the human race long after they are gone.

That's an interesting perspective but not one I can believe in, man makes wars, why would so called beings of light create wars?

Re: Angels?
I think of the meaning of 'angel' this way. Aligning Neutral Guiding Energy Localized. ( they attune to our needs, they don't take sides, they guide us in our chosen direction, they are pure enery...love and they can interact with each of us personally and consciously.)
Angels are our key to Spiritual connection and guidance.

Re: Angels?
I believe in angels, they are emissaries of light in my eyes.I read many books about them years ago as I started my spiritual development, there are many authors like Diana Cooper, Angela McGerr or Doreen Virtue who write about angels.
We have our deepest bond with our guardian angels as they protect and accompany us a life long.
It is great to meditate with them, ask them for help or advice but don't forget you are always the master of your fate. I mean there are people who just get addicted and ask for everything.
Angels are definitely "in", you see everywhere angel books, posters and advertise- do you guys notice this, too?

I got my connection to them as I was in desperate need of guidance.I didn't know where to go and what to do, I was emotionally very deep down so I felt kind of trust knowing they are there and I get help if I needed.
