Your favourite crystal?

What is it and why do you like it so much?

I have a quartz that I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I tend to be drawn to quartz over any type of other crystal. And it seems like my other favorites are just different variations of quartz. I love it. I have one that I always carry with me. It's almost too large for my pocket, but I can't leave it behind. I keep it in my left pocket generally. And in my right pocket I always carry a small rose quartz and rhodonite that someone blessed and charged for a specific healing for me. Those are always in my right pocket. I also have a blue lace agate that is special to me...and a very small raw amethyst. lol But quartz is my die-hard favorite!!

The best way I have found to work with crystals is to hold them in my left hand while meditating or sometimes I'll lie down and place one on my forehead or other chakra points (depending on what I'm looking to accomplish). Then I visualize energy flowing through the body (just a white light) and through the crystal and back into myself. I think of crystals mostly as amplifiers of source or intentions, and not that whatever spiritual property they have starts with them. I used dumortierite last night on my forehead as I'm looking for some clarity of perception (sometimes what is real is illusion and sometimes what is illusion is real) and it felt quite interesting, like little fingers reaching out over my noggin.

Hi All, i've used crystals on my forehead too quite a long time ago now and the sensations can be peculiar, also if it helps anyone clear quartz (i've found) is good for getting rid of headache, it worked for me anyway

I have too many 'favorites' to name just one...

My favorites would have to be the ones currently in use by me...

I have acquired a few, ok a lot of stones, in the past few years. I don't know if I have a favorite one to work with, or use. I usually work with what ever one I need for healing at the time. And I use my Lemurian Seed Crystal Pendulum all the time. Ones I use the most would probably be my Quartz, Pendulum, and Rose Quartz.

Ohhhh boy... I have a few...
Amethyst, Moonstone, Sunstone, Labradorite, Rose Quartz, Black Tourmaline

I like Amethyst because of the spiritual vibrations it gives off and because the colour.
I like Moonstone becuse the lunar energy and how it is an emotional stone.
I like Sunstone because it makes me be in a lighter mood.. :)
Rose quartz because it too lets me be in a lighter mood, also because it's the stone of love.
And lastly, Black Tourmaline because how powerful its' protection properties are.

Well apart from my amethyst and clear crystal I think I like my rose crystal the best, there's something about it that just makes me feel good.

That's a really pretty stone and I agree with it's calming effects.



Rose quartz has a similar effect, very soothing.

I wear, most of the time, a lavender jade bangle...at least it was lavender when I bought it. Now it seems to change colour...sometimes it has a greenish tint and sometimes a yellowish tint.... certain small denser areas seem to stay lavenderish. When I wake up in the morning, the colour seems to be the most lavender that it gets during the day. It feels good to wear...kind of calming.

My favs are the Falcon's eye and a small Obsidian pyramid i got when i bought a crystals magazine months ago.....small but very potent i tell you, from the first moment i held it in my palm it really felt like something was alive in there...

Well yes it is...but i don't really know if what many say crystals have spirits in them etc is the reality....i (like to) believe it's our energy, our life-force that activates them, resonates in them and make them vibrate. I have had some training with a Prana doctor years ago and i used an obelisk-shaped quartz once...it was inactive at first but when i concentrated i could see energy coming out of its pointy top to the patient. When i focused on something else it stopped, so did the patient's sensation of the energy. I even tested the same on my wife who does not believe in such things and the same thing happened. So i guess we can function as "batteries" or the energy providers for the crystals which of course can be charged by other means like sun or moonlight or even Earth's magnetic field.
However they really have healing abilities, it's all a matter of practice in Prana management, good intentions and knowledge about each particular crystal's attributes.
The best way in choosing what crystal is good for us...is to let it choose us lol...in a crystals shop, everyone is attracted to particular crystals. Some say they talk to us, i think subconsciously (which is the 90% of what we call psyche)we can attune to their crystalline structure and know which one is best suited to our needs. Fascinating aren't they...

I am not sure who to ask but I assumed that everybody here has some good info about crystal.
I need help figuring out weather wearing and possessing your own crystal is safe or not. I heard that crystal is very powerful stone that can attract “thought” or “feeling” from people around you. And “evil spirit” will come into crystal for those “feeling” because that is what “evil spirit” eats. Eventually “evil spirit” use your crystal as “home”.
You have crystal to feel better and improve yourself but it may be doing opposite thing. I see lots of “healing” power info all over the internet. But is it really true?
