That is because you're not just your Sun sign... Sun = the month you were born into. There are of course many things to be taken into account.

It also can be due to the way you might understand Aries.

I will use Cancer as an example to explain what I mean. I read this on an astrological forum, & it made sense for me. Someone didn't think they had an influence regarding their Cancer in sun, as they thought most cancer's were very emotional maybe even whiny. & they didn't see themselves as such. Yet, they had a lot of passion when it came to expressing themselves. A lot of feeling. Feeling is emotion.

What some astrologists will tell you, is that your Ascending sign is the most important out of your Sun, Moon, & Ascendant sign.

Than there are influences such as planets, degree's, & houses. These few, I don't understand yet, & am still learning.

It is really interesting to meet a few different Capricorn Sun's with other influences. I just use Capricorn as an example, because I find they're very confident with their bodies so much, that they tend to be almost, exhibition like. & I have met 4 in the last 4 years that were very influential to me. I tend to attract Capricorn Sun's like a magnet. Which Virgo's tend to do. & will make my own post.

Moon = Emotional
Sun = True Core
Ascending = Outward Personality

I have Virgo in Sun, Virgo in Moon, & Virgo as my Ascending sign.

I am very strong Virgo. This life is about Balance. About a decade ago I was diagnosed with a dis-ease I like to refer as, the sickness of extreme's. I know most must work towards balance on a day to day basis. I have a thought process that tends to work at extreme's that are unhealthy.

Ascending = It is the sign that was rising on the Eastern horizon of the sky in the place and at the moment of your birth. The personality you put on for others.

I had a light bulb moment again, when I found out I had so much Virgo! Virgo's I have come by tend to be very hard on themselves, tend to have a tendency to think in extremes, all black or all white. & depending on other signs, can be very whiny or & very confident.

Please don't quote me on the above, as every time I look it up, & read in different books, the Sun & Ascending tend to be mixed.

What I tend to find very interesting is what my parent's signs are, or at least their Sun. & the friends which have come & gone from my life. Their Signs as well.

I don't always take signs into account.


I once asked a healer what her sign was at the time, & she told me, that she CHANGED it a long time ago, so as not to be influenced by the Devil. I don't really see how the Devil influences our Star signs, but I don't know enough about it to say it couldn't be an aspect. Or Truth. She also believed that we are aliens. When I think about it, well, we are influenced by the stars (planets) & we live on a planet. I just think we're not the type of "Sci-fi Aliens" tv makes out. I always thought babies look like Aliens.  The only reason there is Life on Earth is because we have a perfect Balance of Temperatures that let things grow.

I'm Aries, with ascendant Aquarius. Like another poster, I don't relate too much to the stereotypical aries.

Libra sun, capricorn moon, scorpio ascendant.

Something I noticed in generating charts is how often the same signs popped up in the charts of the grandparents, parents and children in our family, only in different patterns.

That's interesting Godscell, my daughter was born exactly 2 weeks before my birthday and is also an Aries and my son was born 3 weeks after and is in Taurus.

Blueanchor, I wonder if this is common.

And I just realised my post may have given the impression that I'm an astrologer - I'm not. I was talking about using online programs that generate charts based on birthday and birth hour and location.

I'm Taurus, but unlike the description given on many sites -incl this one- I don't have this notorious anger nor the stubbornness. I can be stubborn, but not extremely. I do not like to be pushed to do something. That's when I dig my heels in the sand, hihi.
And anger... takes a helluva lot to get me to lose my temper. I do have a temper, inherited that from my dad's side. But I don't like it. It's scary as bleep. I once or twice have lost my cool in life, and then I'm really seeing red, totally lose control. So I learnt to deal with it as I don't like it at all. And the funny thing is, I don't easily get angry anymore at all.

My son is way worse when it comes to being stubborn by the way. He's a Capri. I learnt on SF from someone who was a Capri too that they are way way WAY worse than Taurus. And looking back at the many Capri friends I've had throughout life I can see that it's true. If a Capri doesn't want something you can do what you want, they will not budge. You can truly forget about it and if you keep pushing it... boy, are you in trouble! 
I can usually be persuaded. 

Anywho, I don't feel like a real Taurus. That only surfaces when I'm totally off-kilter by something.

I'm a Pisces in 4D perspective...

One thing I will say that is true for me as a Pisces, is that I'm a total freak in the...well, you know
