Age in the Afterlife? Empty Age in the Afterlife?

Post  SpiritVoices Tue Jan 08, 2013 8:33 pm

When we arrive and settle down in the Afterlife,we learn we can be anything we would like to be,for instance youth, age etc.

I was discussing these points once with a friend.
How we like to look and what age we would like to be.

What age and how would you like to look.
Would you prefer to be sweet 16 again?
Or would you like to stay in your more mature years?
Or would you like to be a child again?

You bring up an interesting point, Joanie. We are NOT stuck with the attributes or physical appearances that we had while here on earth. Our astral 'bodies' are nothing more than energy that we can manipulate in any way that we see fit. So, if we die as an elderly person we do not have to remain that way. We can appear as anything or any age we wish. This is also true with those who die as babies or in-utero. They do not have to remain in that form, but may do so in order to help ease the pain of those they left behind.

I would like it to be a surprise. I don't think I can choose now.

Like children who do not get the chance to live their full life.

They finish their years in spirit or are reborn into another life.

That brings back to reincarnation.....another subject.

Maureen,at first I had a think about what age I would like to be.

My first thought was about 17 years then I changed it to my 20's.

On futher thought I decided the 30's was it.

Not old but not terribly young.

Can't really decide what age I would like to be, probably won't care much anyway, will be too busy having a look around.

I know a couple of days after my Mum passed she came to me and looked about 20 years younger than her 83 years at passing.

Many say their loved ones always appear younger I think this is because they are free of the body and all that brings no tension, no pain, no infirmity, i've also heard that people with a body part missing in life, be that from birth or amputation they appear with that part in tact though just as often they appear without it too (so they are recognised,) the same with any disfigurement.

    Very true,Violet.

I had proof of this given to me shortly after my husband passed over.

My very first reading of him.

He was described as being in his 30's or 40's.

His height, his looks and most of all was seen pointing to his two legs.

The message given to me was 'he has both his legs now'.

    Plus a lot more information....
