Does the way a crystal is cut

affect it's energies and if so is it right that a natural uncut crystal is best and what about stones which have been tumbled?

 Yes, everything about the crystal affects it's properties and power and harmonics. It all starts when a crystal is formed and then mined, which area of the world it was produced in, the mix of chemicals that went to form it's crystalline structure.

The most powerful energies come from natural uncut crystals that are uniquely formed into high vibrational forms. These are the shapes that man-cut crystals try and emulate because of their resonance. Perfectly formed crystals in nature are rare, they are always under attack and the conditions have to be just right for them to form properly but when they do they are unique.

Tumbled stones carry the pure and generic harmonic resonance of that particular crystal and are perfect for healing layouts and for carrying around all the time. We have found quite a few large rocks on our property.  Real deep green and also a really pretty purple one, among all sorts of other colors but wondering if they are actual Amethyst or something of that nature.

Do these ordinary rocks hold valuable energy?  If I read the above posts and understood correctly, they can.  Like what people look for in stones or crystals for healing for instance?  Im assuming they hold our property's energy from years gone by like a sponge per say.  I would love to be able to draw out any of the history from them.  Is it possible to create a vibration from them in order to recapture the history?

Depending on what they are they will hold their own energy. Do they appear opaque and dense or translucent like a crystal? Do you have any pictures?

Presuming that they definitely did come from where you found them, and so many 'travel' around, then you might be able to meditate with them and attune to their vibration and be given impressions of what they have been through.

Most are dense.  Raw and uncut.  I can take a picture of the purple and green ones.   They were all found within our property lines and some were dug up when we built our home on the land.
