Shooting stars?
Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

Re: Shooting stars?
Yeah same here - 2 in the space of one hour. Not so much a shower, more a couple of squirts!

Re: Shooting stars?
Apparently there was a shower...depends where you are and at what time you watched.
Call me niaive (it was the first time I'd seen a shooting star) but I was expecting a little twinkly star on the end of it...like in the cartoons!
I had to laugh when I caught a glimpse of myself stargazing....there I was, outside the front porch with opened packet of crisps looking up - felt like someone with a bag of popcorn about to see a movie!

Re: Shooting stars?
That is something I have never seen for years! Shooting stars.
Many is the time that I used to see them as a child and wonder where they came from...
Is it the fact that we seem to have too much cloud in our skies these days?

How do you shoot a star? Aren't they too far away?
