Psychic or what?

I can't tell you how many times I pick up my phone to check for text messages, find none, put it down then one comes in, i'm I picking up on it before it arrives, is it something to do with the mechanics of the phone or am I psychic   Seriously though if I had a pound for every time this happened i'd be rich, does this happen to you or something similar?

I am not a good one to ask. I don't have a phone. If there is something psychic about me, it is that I do not want a phone - of course it may be a phoneophobia!

lol... I was thinking this very thing tonight coming home. I was holding my phone in my hand and picked it up to look... nothing... then 'bzzzt', right then a text came through.

It happens with lots of things, that strange precog feeling in the tummy.

It's known as phantom vibration syndrome.

Wouldn't that only be a valid explanation if there were no messages shortly after the fact? I can understand if you feel your phone vibrate or ring-a-ling and then there's no message... but Violet and I are speaking about knowing shortly before the fact that a message is coming in.

The only problem I see is-- you say your checking your phone BEFORE a message comes through; so it's not just a phantom vibration.. I don't think..  

Do you get "phantom" alerts where a message doesn't come through?

I have never had any feelings that my phone is going to ring but as I pick it,I know or sense I know,who it is ringing....I'm about 75% correct....

Intuition can make some very psychic like perceptions, but I don't think intuition would have that kind of success rate, or not at first. It like most cognitive functions requires a tuning or sharpening  per say; either y'all are highly intuitive or psychic...

It might have nothing to do with the phone device but more the energy from the person calling ye.  For them to make that call before they do that energy from them is set in motions that might well get to ye.  They have to think about calling and then do it.  In that  thinking on calling one they might bridge that gab to ye. 

I do that with the phone as I honestly hate the dam device, it will ring and I will go phone solicitor....and not move to look at whom is calling.  Drives the mate nuts as he goes the phone has not even rang once to show the number calling or lit up....LOL.

Timing is a gypsy omen I think.  That is where the feeling of Deja Vous comes from.  Not to be mixed with Deja mustard.  

This does happen to me quite often, but I dismiss it as coincidence - maybe it's more than that, who knows!

Yes that makes totally sense receiving the thought before the communication, I believe our spirit loved ones work in this way which is how they know to 'turn up' (not physically of course) at the church/mediumship sitting etc, we send the thought out that we're going there.

When watching tv and something I wonder about, asking the tv the question. It gets answered immediately.   

  Like the tv and I are having our own personal conversation.   My family thinks its funny.
