Okay,I've met my spirit guides and talked with them but what gets me is they are never really helpful,at least not in the areas of my life where I feel that I need help with.

Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
Listen when we ask for help, me may not always get it. when you really need it will come to you. spirit guides know you really well and in that case they are maybe saying you should sort it out yourself because you its not that big of a deal.
your guides know better than you.

They do help, all the time, perhaps not the way you would want them to.

Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
We do not always know what is best for us at any given time. We only see a very narrow window of time, while our guides are able to see the whole time line involving our lives. They are not here to help with every walking moment of our lives, but are here to help guide us in such a way that we are able to accomplish that which we came to the physical to accomplish.

Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
I got into a somewhat confusing discussion about this with Reality Girl one time. I was just being nice and thanking her for being a guide, and she told me only I can be my own guide. Then she said the nicest words I've ever heard. "But though I can no longer be your guide, I can now be your friend, and you can be mine."

Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
I have a blonde lady who visits occasionally though haven't seen her for quite a while....
The most unexpected dream/vision was walking through Arthur Findley's house, where mediums go for training. I wasn't there for that purpose so haven't a clue why this dream showed that.
Crowds lined each side of us....waving and shouting....

Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
I'll go into who Reality Girl is sometime - hopefully this weekend. In the meantime, may I ask what you mean by those who are here in service? I find this idea very interesting.Detlef wrote:May I ask who "Reality Girl" is?mayflow wrote:I got into a somewhat confusing discussion about this with Reality Girl one time. Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
In general we as spirit come into this reality to learn. This means at some point we enter what is called the incarnation cycle. Which in general takes many tenth of incarnations to complete. The quickest would be 25 incarnations, the longest to complete the cycle would be over 100.mayflow wrote:I'll go into who Reality Girl is sometime - hopefully this weekend. This I would call, being here in lesson.
At this point in time there are millions here to help. They have completed at some point the incarnation cycle here or most likely somewhere else in the universe, and come to be of service. To help to bring the 3D cycle on this planet to a conclusion.
As we all know this planet will move from 3D into 4D and will have a fifth density level as well for those who are ready.
This means, ready or not, we are moving into 4D.
Primarily, those who are here in service hold a higher frequency then the average incarnate. Since everything and everyone is connected, they will influence all those around them. Lift the frequency on the planet. And hopefully make the transition a little easier.

Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
Some time back I met this girl
It all started with a "chance" meeting with a certain girl. She was very
beautiful and we only talked for a few moments, but when I looked into
her eyes, there was something different there. Hard to explain, but I
couldn't forget it. Later that day, I was sitting in my garden, and
I "chanced" to see a yellow caterpiller crawling on a tree trunk.
I watched with entranced delight, and it seemed to stop and look back at me, and I
felt this weird feeling like it had eyes that were like the eyes of the girl I
had met, and my mind went into a sort of altered state of beingness.
It was something like being in a dream, but it wasn't a dream. I could feel
emotions though, very intense emotions. Some like I had never ever felt
before. Inexplicable, but wonderous and rapturous! In this strange state
of being, I saw the caterpiller drop from the tree and disappear into pure
nothingness.
I felt so sad, but then appeared a beautiful rose at the trunk
of the tree and peered at me, and it was the same as the girl and the
caterpiller, and I thought "O this cannot be" and with that very thought
the rose disappeared and I returned to normalcy, but I wasn't so fond of
being normal as I used to be!
That was my first encounter with the girl I call RG. (Reality Girl)

Re: Why do spirit guides never help?
Mayflow - when you relay that Reality Girl said you can be your own guide...how did you feel about that? What did you take from it? It struck a chord with me since, I feel, it relates to our higher self. Are you in touch with your higher self? It's the only guide I need!

They tend to give us what we need rather than what we want, there is a world of difference between those.

I was thrilled to have her say that, and that we could be friends. She, I suppose, when looked at this way was a guide for me to help me get in touch with my own higher self.

Yes, for sure. When I first met RG, I wanted certain things, and she told me that I didn't really want them, but I just thought I wanted them, but I really didn't, because they were superficial and I was meant for something more.
