Personal use of stones

Preferably Amazonite and emerald...

I notice a clear categorization of crystals by their colors... ( color psychology )
 I'm thinking that they jive certain ways with certain people and that certain properties are stronger for certain individuals with certain stones.

any thoughts theories ideas or comments on this?

What' Amazonite and Emeralds significance to you(special strength, powers)? ( their energies, frequencies )

I agree that certain stones and crystals will react with different people in different ways. For me, the power does not come from the stones or crystals themselves but they act like amplifiers of a sort and work with a person's vibrations and energy.

I do like emerald but as I use my crystals in meditation and for dream work, I find it can be a bit too intense.

I love my crystals.. My special is a lemurian crystal  but I do tend to  be draw to a crystal.

I don't think i've used either of those for anything, the strongest pull I ever got from a crystal was lapis luzuli I picked it up in a shop and (I went giddy in a nice way) and had to have it I used to wear it on days I felt I needed a bit of oomph, a confidence boost etc In also used to sleep with it at times.

Colours do matter to me a lot, the deep blue of the lapis lazuli I like, the purple of amethyst is the main reason I like amethyst I don't feel it does much for me as a crystal but I do like the deep rich coloured stones.

I never seem to feel any effect from Crystals.   How does one know if they would affect us?

I had similar experience with this crystal - felt very overpowered by it and felt I could not wear it...

I felt empowered when I had it on me.

Some don't Joanie it doesn't mean they can't work for you though, try handling a few next time you're near somewhere which sells them

I think it makes sense that certain colors/types of crystals would fit for different purposes.

I know that green stones for example, fit for the heart chakra.

Anyway, the most interesting thing happened to me not too long ago.
I outgrew the stones that I was wearing.

Its not like I couldn't use their energy anymore or that its not powerful, its just that I needed stones of a higher caliber.

So I am now wearing Nirvana quartz, Citrine, and Celestite.

I think that Amazonite varies depending on which country it comes from. The Russian form is so very different in energy to the American for instance. 

I noticed that you seem to like Beryls, is it the chemical composition then that made you bring in Amazonite?
