I remember being on a farm once as a child. The first time I had ever stayed on one....
I was taken to the cow shed and shown the young calves.   Lambs as well.
I remember them coming up to me and sucking at my fingers....
Such a shame they are murdered for meat...

Anyone noticed how few cows and sheep we see about these days? Some kids only ever see pictures of such animals which is really sad

Depends on the time of year Violet. Although sadly  a lot of farms are intensively rearing indoors now which means shorter rearing times and no animals in the fields.

We have a lot of really baby lambs around, well tiny newborn lambs with lots of fresh grass :)

Also the title of the film and the reason behind the Silence of the Lambs always does me in.
