Horrendous Situation!

Why is this young woman to die because the man she wants to marry is in a different religion to herself?

I find it horrendous that they are going kill her after a year of nursing her new born child just because of religion.....

Does this make sense to anyone here?

So much of what people do in the name of religion makes no sense to me. That is why I avoid organized religion.

Horrendous, 1antique,what shocked me was she kept in chains while giving birth.

I cannot believe this could happen in our so called modern world....

From what I have read from Silver Birch books,there is no organised religion in the spirit world.

Religion is man made imo, I believe in a higher energy which is not man made made, god if you like, but what man says god says, I believe is what man says FOR god

These 'cultural' differences have been there for decades!--Hidden!
Men and women ARE different--but I believe that when a pair is brought together a WHOLE is created!
Men and Women are two halves of a Whole!
Those that choose to destroy this notion must therefor be evil and work for the 'dark side'.
The problem is really how do we stop the 'evil' without creating massive upheaval and bloodshed?

Yes what is happening in Sudan is terrible.  That does not give anyone the right to condemn Muslims.  The Crusades were a terrible act performed by Christian nations.  Shall we then condemn all Christians?

What the Muslim radicals are doing right now reminds me of what the Catholic church did during the dark ages.......

Same precept.....believe as I do or you will be tortured and killed.

And yes, I do have first hand knowledge of this. My family were Calvinists. We were pursued all over Europe and persecuted for our beliefs.....tortured....murdered. Our family even changed our names in an attempt to escape this persecution. We were finally able to escape to the 'New World' and begin a new life.

religion is a flat cake tuna. a sense of irk pride made the dumb person do it.

What about the child left?   Who is going to mother that child?  The resentment that child will feel why his mother was murdered.....

it's not fair to say, that's too much for a young head, 'that what if - a big un-fun' - and to bring the issue, nevermind, the young kid has nothing to do with - so all them hards to scram .. .
