mine aren't comfy but they're old and so worn out I pricked my toe on a holly leaf where they've split at the side and got a splinter in my big toe

OOCH! Bet that made you jump and possibly use a few choice words! I chopped a holly tree down last year to let light get to the apple tree and am STILL getting stabbed off the dead leaves, punishment off it methinxs. Doesn't matter how many times it gets cleared out more leaves seem to appear purely to stab unsuspecting fingers

Holly is horrible stuff, funnily enough it was a leaf from a bush i'd 'pruned back' and it doesn't matter how old or dead they are they still hurt
