Bless you Aube and BlueAnchor
thank you, I know it's important as many colleagues in the medical profession has had experiences and it's important to unite the science and spiritual worlds. The spiritual world is another form of our existence and the science community is just acknowledging the existence of spirit.
As a nurse, I have had many patients who have slipped into a coma. I personally can't recall that I've seen a comatose patient's spirit although I've sensed it. One such time was when I was with a patient who was middle aged and was dying of a brain tumour, on the morning she slipped into a coma, she told me "do you know what day it is today"? I didn't know what day it was so I asked her and she said," it my wedding day". I knew that her time was near and that day she slipped into a coma. She lasted 3 days and her family was grieving in the room with her. I told her husband to tell her that it was ok to let go...he did through sobbing but she didn't go there and then, she waited until they went for a break to take her last breath ! I sensed she was there within her body and I was trying to support her 2 daughters and her husband who were crying so hard !
Another time was when I was in a patients room, he had his 2 sons with him they then came to me and said theiir dad needed help, they waited outside the room when I went in he was sitting up so I went to him and physically supported him sitting up. He then looked right past me over my right shoulder and pointed and said "Angel" then he lay back and died, I tried to call his sons back but they didn't hear I actually sensed that there was something behind me and when I looked around there was nothing.
I've also wrote about Elsie in another post on here about death. Elsie was an old lady who used to wander round the hospital, it was a specialised hospital catering for long rehabilitation, young disabled and dementia patients.
I was going on duty when I saw Elsie come out of the ward wearing just her blue nightdress, I said hello Elsie and she looked me in the eye and carried on walking and turned left down the corridor. I knew she couldn't get out of the hospital but she didn't have any slippers on and concerned she would catch cold so I went down the ward which had all curtains closed which wasn't unusual at that time of day. I went to the Nurses station and said I had just seen Elsie leaving the ward at which everyone stopped and stared at me. Then Judy, the Head nurse said "come with me" and I followed her to Elsie's bed where I saw her body, she had died 10 minutes previous. I saw her as solid not transparent. I hope this helps answer your question Aube.
