    Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy, used to treat the whole person as apposed to just the illness. Essential oils are used for this practice. Regular sessions of aromatherapy from an experienced practitioner can boost the immune system and promote good health.

My nose doesn't work too well either so I prefer insence as the smell is much heavier, I don't like fruit scents at all, fruit is for eating not sniffing Aromatherapy 809779

I'm a bit of a fan of e.o.'s - Lavender being one of my favorites. I tend to like the 'heavier' ones - Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Frankincense...the 'earthy' stuff. I listed Vanilla because while some may consider it a 'light' scent - it is calming and grounding (at least to me)...and it is used as a 'base note' in perfumery.

There are some citrus ones I love - Blood Orange, Bergamot, Lime, Lemon, Petitgrain, and Pink Grapefruit.

I have a strong sense of smell, and scents can give me a headache if it is to empowering, or to strong.

I remember one year when I worked for a lawn and garden, at Christmas time. We got in some scented pine cones. Apparently they are a big rage. They were to much, it was sending me into over load.

Oh those Cinnamon scented ones? They smell quite a bit as we get them around here in stores...whoah.

I can't stand too much Lavender as it does give me a headache...but just a little bit...works wonders on me.

Personally - I don't think I could handle too much of any scent, even if it is my favorite, as it would give me a headache or make me feel nauseated... Aromatherapy 160943
