How long

How long do you recommend someone waits for a mediumship reading following a death?
Does it matter if it's the day after or a year after?

Do you think it takes a long time before spirits can come through?

That's a hard one,Violet.
Some have waited years,some have received messages straight away.
It also depends on the strength of the person who has passed, in the art of communication.

Hi violet like joan has said it depends on the strength of the person deceased, i can only speak from experience i have given messages to two women, who came to the healing sanctury, afer the undertaker took the coffin to the house over night, he was placed in front of a unit he hated in life, he came through asking why they placed him there knowing he hated the unit, their faces were a picture,
but i have given messages to others, years later after the loved one passed, that was the first message they had had,

I have heard before,Carron.
Also the difference in time between here and spirit can make a dfference.
remember we move at a difference pace to spirit,their time is a lot faster than our's,I beleive.

Hi Blackcrow, I bet that gave them quite a shock!
I had a relative come through a medium in 3 days I thought that was quick, the medium said he had a very strong energy, as far as I know he didn't believe in any of this but it just goes to show that you don't need to to get back through.

There is no time in the Spirit World.

Hi Joanie, it certainly seems that way, but i'm sure we're getting subtle messages all the time but just not picking up on them or putting them down to imagination.

That must be very sad.

Fortunately I have never had that experience. From the day I first enquired into Spiritualism (over fifty years ago!) I have always been aware of the closeness of friends and loved ones.

I can truthfully say that I have never lost contact with anyone I've ever known on earth.
