Many things are happening at the moment, and all will unravel very soon I hope.

I'm not Catholic but CofE but that comes pretty near to the Catholic church.

Saying that,I haven't much interest in religion any more....seeing the heart break that religion brings,I wonder why we worship a deity that cannot be proved...

Personally I don't feel that the presence of God has to be proved.  I can't explain why I feel like this but it is quite a strong conviction.  When you think of it it's not religion itself that causes all the problems but the human beings that hide behind it and use it for their own motives.

If I could feel God around,Maureen I think I would feel more that He is there.
I suppose when I read and watch the terrors in the world,I wonder if there is a God.

    But that's just me..

The 'GOD' idolised by ALL religions is not what they say (HE) is!
Why (HE) that is the first error of most religions and certainly those that believe in a single deity--why is God 'HE'?
All Artwork depicts God as masculine  why?
Only SPIRITUALISM comes to me as logical--the DIVINE SPIRIT is a Spirit ENTITY--neither Male or Female.

If God is all seeing etc etc then why -if he is a GOOD BENEVOLENT God does he allow much of what happens?
The Churches put it down to FREE WILL haha!!! How many of us choose to allow the carnage that goes on in the world?

There is sadly only one conclusion-- ALL organised religions are following a being that is not 'good' that is not 'loving'!

Or am I totally confused by the carnage this world produces???

Peter,I have often asked myself the same question....
Why do they depict him/her as a loving God?   Why do we use the 'him/she' in describing this deity?

It is said we are sent here to learn many lessons,I can understand that.    But in the case of children being molested or hurt in any way,how can he/she allow that punishment on innocent ones?

There has to be a reason for the reign of an Almighty presence.
What and who is that presence?    Is the question.
