On the fingers, does anyone know what they mean please, I mean those which go crossways accross the fingers where the joints are and they I know they can be doubled or cisscrossed/chained but these are three distinct sets of lines?

Left hand and definitely small finger though I think it was on more than one finger

I always understood children were marked by the small vertical lines on the edge of the palm just below the little finger, I could be wrong though, thanks Crystal

I would like to learn about this. In fact the only part that I know about are those lines at the side of the palm, about children, and that part has worked out exactly for me.
In times long past, how would 16 or more child lines have crammed into that small space though?
I do so hope that someone knows something about the opening post topic question, as I wish to learn as much as I can.
