Venus Position Can have quite the impact!

Few people talk about their Venus sign in astrology. It's always sun, moon, rising. But I've found out that Venus is very important and can set a very strong tone to certain aspects of your life. And with Venus, this also goes for the arena of love.
That's where I feel I have a bit of a clash. 
I'm Taurus, ruled by Venus, so very much feminine energy. Moon in Pisces, and I'm very sensitive, intuitive etc.
And then there's my Venus in Aries... masculine energy and of the type that barges straight through things. Not the most subtle energy in the world, and in that sense it contradict the rest of me.
And I HAVE noticed this in the arena of love. It's not an issue for myself but I can tell men can find it a shock. Apparently when it comes to the more intimate aspects I shift in this Venus in Aries femme fatale, and when I'm on fire... I'm on fire. It can happen in a flash -we're talking Aries here, right- but also go cold in a split second, depending on what goes down.
I've noticed some men can be rather flabbergabbered as I think to them I shifted from this lovely, romantic, gentle woman into a fiery female. 
I read up on this aspect -Venus in Aries- and it said somewhere that a woman with this position needs a man who's really strong in his masculinity so he can easy-peasy handle that fire and passion
And yup, that's right! I need a masculine energy man. 
Stupid thing is, I have had a very masculine energy man as a partner, a Leo. But I still had this problem with him. I checked out his Venus... Libra. Explained a lot, haha.
My ex had Venus in Pisces... didn't work either.
With my hubby I never had this problem at all, even though he was a sensitive Cancer. But... his Venus is in Leo!

So clearly the Venus position can be very important in matters of love!

Also in matters of money or manifesting things by the way, as Aries is fast energy, almost demanding at times, and it wants results yesterday!!! 
THAT is a problem when building a company and with manifesting things. That takes time. But I want it asap and if that doesn't happen I lose hope and/or inspiration and give up.

Hi....me again !.... You see I just don't get these rising "things" etc. I know they exist, but seems a little out of my league, as to what my mind can take in. I know they are "real". But I can't get my head round them. I'm a Leo . That's all I know !!!!..... I admire anyone that's studies and "knows" about such things.

Hi Elfin!
I'm far from an expert myself, but I have some books on astrology and I like to dabble in it a bit every now and then :) You don't have to be an expert at all to still understand some things.
Just like when you read about your sunsign and find recognition in things, you can have the same with the other planets.
Like with Venus, that's all about beauty, love, sex, money and so on. If you then are for instance a Pisces and read up on what Venus in Pisces stands for, you again find recognition.
Sometimes it can bring insight in things you didn't get at all. Like me not getting why certain things with men got difficult at times. Then reading about my Venus in Aries made me realise why that is.

It sounds more complex I guess than it really is. 
But when it goes deeper, like the houses etc., I'm out of my league. And that's fine. I don't fancy being an astrologer anyway haha. 

I also have a book that combines Western and Chinese astrology. 
I have a clash there too: I am a Taurus which typically abhors change, yet in Chinese astrology I am a Horse which LOVES changes and galloping to new pastures to discover, freedom etc.
Total clash, haha. But I indeed DO have both sides in me :) Once I get over the typical Taurus reluctance to go there's no stopping me!! But to get over that initial hurdle... 

I like that stuff! And really, if you know a bit about your own Moon, Rising, Venus, Sun, and possible Chinese, you know quite a lot and gain a lot of insight. And also a lot of recognition which is always cool. And that's all simple & easy.

That's easy for you to say LOL..... When it comes to men, I don't think I need to know about their sun , moon, rising charts, to know I wasn't meant to be with them LOL.. oh good grief!!!!!..... When does life get simple?.... Where are the lovely Sundays when nothing was open?... Where are the empty roads, bereft of traffic?.... Where are the picnic baskets , complete with hard boiled eggs, still in their shells, and a little twist of salt to sprinkle once shelled ?... Where have all the fairy tales gone ?...... But ignore me.... This is what happens when you live in cloud cuckoo land !!! But with regard to my sun , moon, rising, the only thing I know is that despite everything, the sun and moon will still rise!. It's just an area that I can't get my head around. But when you speak of "houses" .... Then take me RIGHT out of the equation!!!! If I was lost with the "rising" ..... I'm completely a lost cause with the "houses" heehee...

We all have our own things we like :) 
I don't even recall how I got into astrology, but I've liked it for a long time, even as a teen.
Once I went to a info afternoon about a course in astrology. My then husband went with me, he was also mildly interested. But hearing what it was all about, pfff... I knew that wasn't for me! 
I'm not specialised in anything really but I've studied and tried & tested a great many things in life.

Very much Gemini, haha. Which is not my sunsign but it is my Rising. I don't know if there's something else in my chart concerning this. I just know I am like this :)
