Hi SB, perhaps (wherever I heard it from, can't remember now) they'd seen or heard bickering between the two, but people whose beliefs are almost identical, will still argue sometimes, and with some people, no matter how 'spiritual' they are, feel they are competing, or have to compete all the time.

I am not far from Whitby and I can say that Whitby is like Stonehenge, a complete circus ! Great if you like a Dracula Tea Bar and cafe, if you get my drift. The "Dracula connection" is well cheesy !

Pagan - anglicised Roman word, "Paganus" - meaning country dweller. Snide joke from Urban Romans - country bumpkin.

Whitby Harbour - home port for Captain Cook

Whitby Abbey - associated with Dracula [ Bram Stoker ]

Me bad ! probably being a bit unkind about Whitby. It is a nice place to visit and very popular with Goths because of the Jet shops - Jet has been mined there for a couple of centuries and was made fashionable by Queen Victoria after the death of her Prince.

Man I love fish and chips! There's only two places in the state I live in that I've been to that have really good fish and chips: the Moshulu (Cape Horn ship turned floating restaurant) - in Philadelphia, and The Whip (an English style pub run by an Englishman) - in West Chester area in my state.

    LoL Paganism? - Page 2 349308

A fellow WWII reenactor who does both American and RAF told me about that episode this year when I was at the WWII event that I go to. (He's very much into the RAF - Spitfires are his favorite aircraft and he does a wonderful impression of a British RAF crewman).
