pendulums
Hello Violet
Made a pendulum several years back!
A very dear friend gave me a stone--bought a cage and a chain--keep it in a silver box shaped as a heart.
Very special!!!

Re: Home Made Pendulums
I take anything, like a chain, some string and hang something in it that is heavy enough, even my glasses, specs.
But I have to say, using a pendulum is very cumbersome, There are quicker methods.

Re: Home Made Pendulums
I have a rose quartz pendulum with a pentacle carved into it and it is very, very responsive but I sometimes use an acorn or a pine cone collected on my wanderings.

It's not my favourite tool either Detlef.

That sounds lovely and what a great idea to use acorns and pine cones.

Re: Home Made Pendulums
The first thing I ever used as a pendulum is a sterling silver necklace that i have with a sea turtle pendant that has moving appendages. The appendages don't always move, but they can. It works great. My friends mom gave it to me when I was 16 or 17 years old. It's very sentimental.
Recently, I bought a chakra pendulum that has chakra stones going down the chain and it has a mossy agate crystal at the bottom. and a blue agate crystal heart that you hold in your hand. I like it as well.
