how do i clean them , discharge them and reload them? i'm not that very good with my crystals, sometimes i just put them under running water and place them over night outside during a full moon, but i don't do that very often.
    thank you again

    Cleansing is easy :)

There are many ways to cleanse your crystals,
this is different from cleaning them. Cleaning takes off the dust and
dirt and mud, cleansing takes away any excess or unwanted energy, be it
magnetic, electro magnetic, static or negative.

The best and fastest way is to run the crystal under cold running water.
Nearly all tumblestones can be cleansed in this way. It earth's and ground's them
and can reset their energies so they are ready to work a new. Some
people visualise all the negative energy running away with the water to
be healed by mother earth, but it works whatever you believe.

Please don't use salt, salt is basically crushed Halite or crystalline rock
salt and is very abrasive and damaging. It attracts moisture and so if
a fragile stone is immersed in salt or salt water then dries the minute
salt particles can carry on attracting water and lead to damage and
    fracture.

The sea is slightly different, it has negative ions
and so the salt is held in suspension until this is broken. Mountain
streams or waterfalls or rock pools are brilliant for adding energy too

I take my main crystals to the Alps with me and bury them in the snow
overnight for a real deep cleanse, they love it, but boy is my suitcase
    heavy lol!

Other ways are to smudge, to use light, or reiki, or incense.

Most do not need recharging or discharching, cleansing does it all :)

You are most welcome :) Just yell if I get too over enthusiastic with my replies, but it is so nice to see all my favourite topics in one forum :)

That was exactly my aim, to cover as much as I possibly could, some think the forum is too large, but spirituality and healing is a very large topic, i'm just pleased you're enjoying it :hugz:

    Hello

The best methood and one that does no damage is to use dried products. I would suggest the use of dried roses, or daisies and cloves and sage. Too this can be re used as it holds no energies.

The other is purified water with sea salt but its a bit harse.

The time one lets crystals sit is up to ye there will be an enegry feel to them in change they will feel light and airy.
This should be done when one gets a crystal and after every use.

To open the energy in them again that is a personal call. I like to use a blessing.

If I find a crystal is totally not responding to me at all I will place it in a South window for one FULL cycle of the Moon. Starting with the New Moon and taking it out the day after the Full Moon. Then I would do the cleansing steps.
