Fire Gazing

Some people do this quite absent mindedly if they are lucky enough to have an open fire at home, I remember doing this as a kid.
Do any of you do this and do you see images in the flames?

I still do it when mine is in lol. I never see anything though. I like it more when the flames go green or blue. However, I'll be keeping a closer eye on it now just to see if I see anything

The trick is not to look too hard, try to 'soft focus' your eyes, if you want to blink, blink, keep practicing

My dear Violet, I need not practice in the art of blinking, I have been doing this natural movement of the eyes since I was a baby many many moons ago.

I had the opportunity to do some firegazing recently, I didn't really see much in the actual flames but it was fascinating watching the embers...

hmm....never really done this before, but I'd like to try it
