Just recently i've been having a floating sensation just before I fall asleep can anyone offer any suggestions as to why this is happening please, it doesn't feel like my body is floating, just 'me.'

Yes start of AP. There are times when one can very much be in the here and now and OFF one goes.
I LOVe that part of life. I can go "look in" on friends and never have me butt leave me chair.
