How do you get your information?

I am just curious as to how everyone else gets there information.. My problem is my lack of confidence. So perhaps in hearing how others do it, , sorry, it can help with building my confidence some.. Perhaps, anyways.

Messages can get crossed or mixed up, I seem to remember reading for a lady who didn't understand a single word but she mentioned it to a relative who could take EVERYTHING i'd said, so was that me getting it wrong, or spirit working cleverly because there is no way this relative and myself would have ever crossed paths but they got a message through to them in a roundabout way.

I don't think spirit get it wrong, I think our rational mind sometimes 'edits' too much info, sometimes we do readings when maybe we don't really feel up to it, so our own energy is low, another thing is the medium's misinterpretation of a message, which imo it's important to 'say what you see/hear/sense' no matter how\ silly or off the wall it seems to us, as you've found yourself the most random thing can make so much sense to the recipient.

Sometimes a sitter is not willing or ready to accept the evidence, sometimes they won't allow any 'give' wanting dead on word for word evidence, but if you make a phone call to someone and then try to repeat that same phone call to another word for word and see just how difficult it can be.

Yea, that's how it was for me with one of my readings. I had a name, and thought that was the person that was coming forward, and then I got the name of who it was for... Turns out it was the name of a friend, of the person that I thought the message was for. It was kind of wild all the work to get a message for someone that I didn't even know through someone else.

Sometimes it's the only way for them to get a message through.

That is true.... It's interesting on the names thing, that I noticed. It seems when I get only a name. It's a name of a living person. If I get a name, and a description of the person, it's the name of a deceased person.

I still don't know if it's mediumship I am using, or if it's psychic abilities. I suppose in a way they are both similar.

You're using both imo, but because you are communicating with spirits this makes you a medium, all mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are mediums.

This is so very true. I have a good Psyhic Reader and while at times via her reading she has come to move over a Ghost ( Earth Bound ) person. She does not see and hear them a way a Medium does.
When I first went to her she asked me how I did not feel torn in TWO as I am both a Psychic and a Medium and I be told I am very gifted at the use of both. I know not the difference as its how I am.....how I came in.

Its all CONFIDENCE yes as for so many years' I so wanted it all gone from me, not understaning how or where to use it all and why. I know now all of that too I have the confidence to put me out there knowing not all will embrace me or understand me but that is all good.

How I get the information is on many levels. I use all 6 senses with the Medium contacts I make. I am told that I remote travel so I can at times go with Spirit to the event of their death to better understad it. I have the 5 primary senses working with me. The 6th is the intuitions and trust I have.
It comes down to trust in one's self and knowing that one has Guides to call in for assistance and Angles for protection. Trust in that inner voice and trying to take the brain out of the equation and listening to the feelings in the gutt. Takes time and patients and practice is all. Take its slow and it will come into place.

Thank you for your comments. I do agree. When I was talking to my mom, yesterday, that was pretty much the gist of what she had said to me. Trust in self. Faith in self. As well as being disciplined. It's also a message I've been hearing a lot when conversing with my guides. I supposed I should listen.

I agree with the psychic part that we are all psychic, and not all psychics are mediums. Though, I don't really know who I am talking to. As when I hear things, I don't hear it in a different voice. I hear it in my own voice inside of my head. So I don't know if that's an inner knowing, or what.

Oh the Tiger avitar lol is Innerlight I so run shut off I rarely know whom I repy to if its not specifially direct to me.

One's Mom is often with ye and I am happy to see here that ye got a clear message. Trusting in self is so important and I feel one might have found that place. Way to go.

Oh when Guides say LISTEN I have so learned to do that. I was as ye know on a very dark and negative path playing with whom and what I am and can do in not Light ways and I was given so many around me to show me a path from that. Even at 13 Father Paul seeing now WHY he was there for me and why he has stayed around me to see the changes in me. I was at a friends home and we had done something not good that night, well I did not listen and I got a wake up call. I had me NDE fall that night. October 1st. thinking on the year makes me fell OLD so we will skip that. I was given a clear message that night I know o change things and to do the work I came in to do now. Knowing now too to be ME I did have to travel that path. I needed to be able to understand BOTH sides. BUT the time had come to move forward from the Dark.

I so listen now. When I feel that pull as it is still there with me to do somethig that is not for the Higer Good I get a nudge. A reminder to think.....it serves me well.
